Luck o' the Irish

St. Patrick's day happened when we were in Arizona which was totally fun! I woke up to a very lucky breakfast of green banana muffins and green milk, Karin is so cute and always does the most festive and fun things!

That night before dinner we sent the boys on a scavenger hunt to find some hidden gold at the end of the rainbow. First we read the history of St. Patricks day, which I found to be very interesting. They had to make sure to listen very closely cause each clue was accompanied by a question they had to answer correctly before they could get the clue.

Clues were hidden all over the house in sneaky places, such as the flowers in the garden, the mailbox, books etc ...

At the end they found their pot of gold!

That night for dinner we had an Irish inspired meal of stew, dad's heavenly homemade bread, a nice big green salad, and a lemon lime slushi to drink to add a little more green to our table

Yay for holidays! They are so fun to celebrate!
